Merry Christmas Eve!
I learned that yesterday was actually Christmas Adam because Adam came before Eve. The things you continue to learn from your kids.
The Nashville area is a place where you can see many celebrities throughout the town. When we lived in Nolensville, we saw Luke Bryan at a Mexican restaurant and Brad Paisley at Whole Foods. We’ve seen Kimberly Schlapman (Little Big Town) at Publix as well. When we moved south to Spring Hill, we have been told that Billy Ray Cyrus frequents the Wendy’s down the road and also one of our friends spotted Kane Brown at Chick-fil-a.
Living in this part of the state there are many opportunities to see stars. A lot of times when people see stars, they come ‘starstruck’. They become little kids again and lose control of their emotions. Just being in the site of a celebrity changes their whole attitude.
Could you imagine being in the site of God? If He was to walk into a room right now, how would we react? Would we be ‘starstruck’ by His presence? Would we rush over to Him and want to get a selfie with Him? How would we react?
I am hoping that we would be over excited to see Him. The One that gave us everything that we have would be right in front of us. We should be the childish acting person that we are when we see a celebrity.
If you are not excited to see Christ when He walks into the room, it may be because your heart is not in the right place. If that is the case, we would like to pray for you and help you get your life back on track with God. Repent of your sins and start living your life for Him again.
Please be safe traveling today.
