What are you vital signs?

Happy Valentines Day. While you spend time with the one you love, don’t forget about the One that loved you first. God blessed you with the life that you have. He is love.

You woke up this morning, you were more tired than usual with a little lightheadedness. To add to it, you have a small pain in your chest that concerns you. The first thing you do is call the doctor and see if they can get you in. Unfortunately, your doctor instructs you to head to the emergency room because of the chest pains that you are experiencing. At the ER, you get right in and they immediately hook you up to machines.

These machines that are being hooked up record your vital signs. The vital signs they measure include your temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels (sp02).

It is determined that you have low oxygen levels and your heart rate is elevated. A further test determines that you have a heart condition that needs to be fixed immediately. Off to surgery, you go to get your hear fixed so you can continue to live a long life.

What are you spiritual vitals signs like?

When you struggle with your faith, how do you handle it? Do you try to fix it on your own? Do you head to a shrink to get advice? Do you call a brother or sister in Christ to get help?

Once again, you wake up and you realize that your life has not been going down the path you want it to go. You struggle daily and have lost all motivation to attend worship services. Skipping worship has actually become a habit to you. Until today, you haven’t really cared. Today, you realized that your spiritual vital signs are out of the norm. What do you do?
