Sold Out

Have you ever been looking forward to an event for a long time? An event like a concert? The venue announces when the tickets go on sale and you mark your calendar for the day and time that the event will go on sale. For months you make plans to attend this concert and you become proactive and book hotel rooms and dinner reservations so you will have everything ready.

The day is finally here. Tickets go on sale at 10:30 AM and you have even taken an early lunch break so you can log onto the venue site to make sure you get your tickets. Then, the time is approaching. Right at 10:30 you get online and start to order. You log onto the site and start picking the tickets you want. When you hit submit the window pops up…SOLD OUT.

What?! The concert you have wanted to attend for months already sold out within seconds. Your dreams of the perfect weekend have now been shut down. You are broken hearted and your day is ruined.

Do you know of one venue that will never be sold out? A place that you can get to and don’t have to worry about someone buying the last ticket or stealing your seat.

Heaven is a place that has plenty of room for everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone wants a place in Heaven and there will be many who fail to purchase their ticket.

Do you want to be one of the many that will have a reserved place in God’s kingdom? In order to get to Heaven, you will need to purchase your ticket and reserve your spot. In order to do that, you have to get your life on track with Christ. Start living a life that God will be proud of. Hear His word (Romans 10:14), believe that Jesus is the son of God (Acts 16:30-31), repent of your sins (Acts 17:30-31), confess that Jesus is Christ, the son of God (Matthew 16:16), and be baptized for the remission of your sins (Mark 16:16).

When all of these steps are taken, you will have your ticket punched for the opportunity to spend eternity with Christ. Your place is reserved. Live a life that Christ commands and you will have your place with Him.

God is Good…
