The waiting game for selling a house can be very stressful. One week you may have some showings while other weeks you may not have any at all. When you don’t have any offers or visitors, you get discouraged. Then there are the weeks where you have multiple clients show up to look at the house and your excitement grows. It grows because you believe that the end of the home selling game is close and you will be able to get the reward for selling your house.
Our Christian walk can be like selling a home. There are times that you are down because your faith is not as strong as it should be. Other times, your faith is strong because you know that spiritually everything is going just as it should be.
In order to keep ourselves going strong in our walk with Christ is to surround yourself with Christian family and friends. When you are around faithful Christians, you tend to keep your walk closer to God than when you are with non-Christians or unfaithful Christians. The more you do with your Christian family and the more you serve Christ with them, the more excited you get because you know at the end of your time here on earth, you will get the reward you have had your eyes set on.
