What season are you?

Yesterday, I saw a post scroll through Facebook that caught my eye. It simply stated, “Do not judge someone based on a season”. It went on to say the following:

  • One season David was a shepherd, the next season he was a King
  • One season Ruth was working in a field, the next season she was owning the same field.
  • One season Mordecai was sitting outside of the King’s palace, the next season he was inside the palace

How true is this? Many of us have been in a place we did not want to be at times. We may have been at the lowest point of our life and now we are at a place in our life that we are happy with.

For me, there have been times that I had no desire to do what God wanted me to do. I would have rather enjoyed the sins of the world than attend an event that would bring me closer to Christ.

The post that was shared on Facebook ended with a simple statement saying “We serve a God who turns things around”. God turned my life around by sticking someone in my life that would guide me in the right direction. Ashley continues to be the other half that keeps me motivated to be the best father and husband I can be and follow God to the best of my ability. I still fail but I am in a new season of life.

What season are you in? Are you working to get out of the season you are in? Are you struggling to get out of it?

Whatever stage of life you are in, remember God can turn things around if you put your faith in Him. If you are struggling, reach out to Him for help. He will guide you down the right path.

If you think you are so far away from Christ that you can’t get help, you are wrong. Give it all back to Him, repent and let Him be number one again.

Even if you aren’t a follower of Christ, there is hope for you because you can become one today. Repent of your sins and confess that Christ is the savior. Be baptized and live a life with Him. That will begin your new season and you will have an amazing future ahead of you even after your life on earth is over.

God is good….
