Change

Today is Sunday! Another day to get together with our brothers and sisters and worship God! Isn’t God amazing?

Yesterday, we did something that we have never done as a family before. Growing up just a few minutes from Reelfoot Lake, we have never taken a boat tour of it. We chose to do the one hour tour this time to see what it was like. As we drove around, we saw signs of the history of the earthquake that formed the lake over 200 years ago. Hundreds of years old cypress trees still standing in the same spot they were before the earthquake.

It was amazing to see the natural beauty that was created by all of the earthquakes that occurred during this time.

Reelfoot Lake is a perfect picture of what God can do. He can take a forest of trees and turn it into a magnificent structure with breathtaking views within a few minutes. He made the Mississippi River flow backward to fill this lake. And now, it is the home of some of the most beautiful wildlife you will ever see.

If God can change that, imagine what He can do to your life. If you are spiritually broken and need help, God can change you. He can do things no other living being can do.

This morning, if you are struggling with anything, I encourage you to get out of bed and get clothes on. It doesn’t matter what you wear, just throw something on and head to a Biblical place of worship. Give it all to Him. Repent of your struggles and come back to Christ. He will change you!
