What if…

Today has been a busy day. We have been getting things ready to pack and get out of this house for our closing. We started the day with a yard sale.

I have been late to post today but I am glad that I was. I try to be consistent with posting because it helps me stay on track but I know that others read them as well. Today is a sad day for Americans. Someone decided to shoot people inside a store in El Paso, Texas. The world has been getting worse and more people are doing harm to others than they have in the past. I encourage everyone to pray for those victims and their families. I don’t know all of the details but I do know that no matter what, God accepts prayers for them all.

Let’s take a step back for a moment and think. What if one of the victims would have been you? You are in a store shopping and a gunman comes in and begins firing shots. I know that some of you, like me, carry a firearm at all times to protect your family and friends, but in this instance, you did not have time to get it. You have been shot and your life on earth has come to a sudden, unexpected end.

If you aren’t ready, why would you risk another moment on earth without knowing that God will take you to heaven with Him if your life ends suddenly? Why wait another minute? There is no better time than now to become a member of the family of Christ.
