Yesterday was the 25th year that I have been a member of the Lord’s family. I was baptized on August 4, 1994. It was the best decision I had made, and would ever make, in my life.

Since that time, there have been many changes in my life. I started off as a very faithful follower of Christ. I was the one at every youth event and participated in many different things. Then, many different things happened and my relationship with God began to disappear. Bad decision after bad decision was made. Eventually, God as no longer in the top 10 in my priority life.

Life changed again for me when I was out of college. God never stopped working on me. Even while I was out doing everything I was not supposed to do, God was still in my life. He found the perfect girl for me and placed her in my life. God changed my life through her. My relationship with Him became strong again and 12 years later, I am proud to say that God is back at the top of my life. He has forgiven me of all of my past mistakes and has accepted me back into His family. I still have a long way to go on building and strengthening my relationship with Him.

There are many of you out there just like I was. Many of you have had a much harder life than I could imagine whereas some may not have had a rough past but still don’t have the relationship you need with Christ. Either way, God is waiting for you. He is waiting for you to wake up and realize that you need Him. He will forgive you of everything that you have ever done. It is a choice that you have to make.

What are you waiting on? If my life would have ended when my relationship with Christ was non-existent, my soul would be in trouble. What about you? We aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Is your life where it needs to be to live eternally with Him? If not, there is no better time than now to make that change.

God is Good….
