When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
How many times have you heard that in your life? It encourages you to have a positive, I-can-do-it, attitude about things in life. We get handed situations that test us in different ways. They test us mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Sometimes we are handed dozens of lemons at one time which makes it difficult to make lemonade. Another famous quote is, “When it rains it pours”. It seems like when somethings go haywire, everything else seems to follow as well. It impacts our attitudes, our relationships, and much more. Sometimes we just want to get away and see if we can start completely over.
In these situations, getting away may be a good thing. Take a break and reflect on the positive aspects of your life. Do this with Christ on your mind. Look at all of the ways He has blessed you and how He has helped you make lemonade out of your previous sour experiences.
Keep in mind that God is always with us and always stands behinds us in all situations. He will guide us through and make us stronger.
Next time your bananas are at the point of rotten, turn them into banana bread.
