Stand Out

Staying in line with our nightly devotional topic this week on ‘standing out’…

We live in an era that people stand up for everything. Whether they believe in what they are doing or not. Many get paid just to be a puppet on the side of the road and march against a certain issue. For decades, athletes and celebrities voice their opinions thinking that they can change the world simply by their name. Unfortunately, many people give in to these celebrities because they put them on a pedestal above others and believe everything they say is correct.

It’s sad to see what our country has slowly become. Christians are becoming more scared to voice their faith because of being afraid of what the public may think. What if we were like Esther? What if we stood up for what we believe as she did? She put her life on the line to try to save the people. She had faith in God that she was doing what was right and turns out, she was.

So what are we waiting for? We need to have the heart of Esther. Sadly, we need to have the heart of the celebrities to stand up for what we believe. Stand up for the only one that can save you. God is the only way to eternity.
