Where are you God?

Where Are You God?

“God, where are you? I’m struggling right now and I need you. Everything that is happening in my life has taken a negative turn. Just when I believe I’m back on the right track, I’m pushed back harder than before. I’m stuck and I need you… God, where are you?”

The above statement is something that you may have heard from a friend or family member or even said yourself at times. When faced with life-changing tragedies, we do tend to question where God is and why things are happening to us. We begin to ask ourselves if we will even get through this event. Even as faithful Christians, we question God’s presence.

It is totally OK to question God’s presence at times. One thing we need to always remember is that God is with us at ALL times. He never leaves our side. He loves you and He cares about each and every event going on in your life. He hears each cry, He feels every bit of our pains…He knows exactly what you are going through.

You may be experiencing emotions that you have never felt before and never dreamed you would experience. All you may want to do is turn away and cry… This is perfectly okay to do. Even Jesus cried! God is sitting by your side, His arm is around you, and He is comforting you. He is the only one that knows exactly how you feel and He already knows the outcome. He will never leave you. Remember that He is the ultimate physician and we need to invest our faith in Him. Give it all to Him.

God has not forgotten you, He is working in the background, making you stronger, building your trust and faith in Him.

God is Good

“For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews‬ ‭2:18‬

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”” Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8
